(For Lasso Kong Cable or the Original Lasso Security Cable)
| Step 1: Secure kayak on any standard rooftop rack according to manufacturers directions. Be sure that your roof racks are locked to the vehicle. Loop Lasso ends around bow and stern of kayak, with cable running under the rack. |  |
| Step 2: Pull the large loop as far down the kayak as possible before taking up the slack around the bars of your roof rack. Wrap Lasso around rack to tighten. Then secure the cable lock. |  |

Follow the combination set-up instructions to the letter. Once you turn the tumblers there is no going back!!!!
Lasso Security Cables work with many touring kayaks to help keep the hatch covers secure as well.
You can use your Lasso to secure your kayak to many stationary objectst. It's not just for roof racks! Simply follow the installation instructions above. Instead of tightening the Lasso cable around your roof rack, wrap it around a set of trees, bike rack, or whatever! It may take a little effort to find the right set-up but in most cases it's doable.
If you have an original keyed Lasso, Don't lose your keys! We regret that replacements key's are no longer available.

The key cannot be removed from the Original Lasso keyed lockiing cable until the cable has been secured together.
